So many times in life, we get so caught up in the moment that we’re in, we forget about the big picture. We forget that a great, big, amazing world exists out there…outside our problems, outside our little corner of the map, outside our comfort zone. The truth is we are GOING to walk through seasons of uncertainty, and loneliness, and heartache, and sadness. We are GOING to face trials and smiles. We are GOING to be knocked down and we are going to get back up. We are GOING to experience cheers and tears. It’s all part of the circle of life, designed to make us who we’re meant to be. The one certain thing that we can cling to in the midst of all of this is the knowledge that there is NOTHING that can happen to break us that can’t, in the same token, MAKE us. Who cares if we can’t see the ending of the story now? This morning it was extremely foggy as I was driving into the office, and it reminded me of the fact that sometimes in life, we have to plunge ahead into the unknown, armed with nothing but our faith and our instincts. Trusting that there are great things ahead of us even when we can’t see them. And believing that every step of our journey, whether it’s taken in triumph or in sorrow, is designed to push us closer to our destination. Don’t let what you CAN’T see block your vision! After all, just because you can’t see happiness ahead on the horizon doesn’t mean it’s not there. I encourage you to live your story boldly today…without fear or worry about how it all turns out…taking in stride both the seasons of glory and the seasons of strife…because a Happy Ending can only come as a result of a Happy Life.
