A Few Things I Learned in 2012

A Few Things I Learned in 2012:

God’s plan is infinitely better than mine.

Just like you can’t judge a book by its cover or a gift by its wrapping paper, you can’t judge a person’s TRUE happiness level by their Facebook status.

If you helped plan their birthday party and they didn’t even come to yours…they’re not true friends. Let them go.

You CAN do it. It seems scary and terrifying now, but your job is to simply the first step and let God do the rest.

You are not here to merely take up space on this earth. Do SOMETHING to add a little positivity to the world.

It is better to take a chance and make a complete fool of yourself than to walk away from a chance, kicking yourself.

Stop making plans with people who are always canceling plans. The only flakes you should put up with are the ones in your cereal bowl.

When people show you who they are…believe them.

Solitude isn’t God’s way of making you feel lonely…it’s His way of drawing you closer to Him.

Going after a dream is a bit like free-falling. It’s the most terrifying and exhilarating thing you will ever do.

What you put into the world is what you will get back. It really is as simple as that.

Love people as much as you can, as long as you have them. Tomorrow isn’t promised.

When you follow your passion…magic happens.

Be yourself. Be yourself. Be yourself. Authenticity changes lives, including your own.
