The message is simple today. Say YES. Say yes to life. Say yes to adventure. Say yes to the unknown. Say YES. Actively engaging in your life will change it a lot faster than complaining about your life will. What does engaging in your life look like? It means making conversation with the barista at Starbucks instead of barking out your order, then staring at your phone. It means talking to that new co-worker or inviting the one you don’t really like out to lunch. It means smiling at people on street corners and calling your friends just to say hello and yes, even flirting with that hot guy in the cubicle next to yours. It means spreading JOY. As much time as you spent getting ready for work this morning, did you remember to clothe yourself in joy? All the makeup and couture in the world can’t compete with a joyful heart.

So today: Realize that you don’t need a ring on your finger to be ENGAGED…then get out there and SAY YES! Say yes to YOU! Your life is down on one knee, proposing an adventure unlike any other and is eagerly waiting for your answer. So go ahead. Say YES. Saying YES to your own life is the most important YES you will ever say.
