Thank you for this. I needed to hear this today. I need to stop comparing myself to the woman that he is now with. I need to love myself more and value my own wonderful traits and talents. I am me and she will never be me.

After a few tough weeks at work, this was a good reminder to me to be grateful and kinder to everyone I meet, from the client at work to the high school boy bagging my groceries at the store. Thanks Mandy.

    Hello,

Thanks Mandy for such a great post.
Unfortunately, I am very hard on myself and I have all these huge expectations that I, as well as society, believe I have to meet. I stress myself so much that I forget to enjoy the moment, everything that I have accomplished. I guess you can say that I am my own worst enemy. However, I’m learning not to be so hard on myself, enjoy the moment, take it day by day. It’s hard sometimes, but I am a work in progress.
